Caring for your bestie!
Hi there! My name is Amanda and I am a long-time dog lover. My dog passed away a few years ago (pictured) and I’m not quite ready to get a new dog yet, so I have been using rover to get my quality dog time in 😂 (so far it has worked). In 2024 and 2025, I walked lots of dogs in our neighborhood (LoHi)! One of my favorite parts is having regular clients and also becoming friends with the owners. I have met awesome dogs and owners on this app! I got a bit burnt out from dog walking in the second half of the year, and was only taking regular clients on the weekends. But I am back on Rover looking for some new clients to take care of! I have in depth experience with caring for dogs! A lot of my reoccurring clients are dogs with separation anxiety and I have become a trusted human for them too! If you have a dog that is a bit nervous or timid, I am good at warming up to them and making them feel comfortable. To note, I do live with my fiancé! Flagging in case of any sensitivities to men.

We love Amanda - she took such great care of Bucky! She went above and beyond to get him to eat (he’s a picky eater)! Provided lots of updates and photos each day too which was appreciated. We will definitely add her to our Rover rotation!
Amanda is a great dog sitter. She sent us lots of photos and updates about Frappuccino. You can tell she really knows Shih Tzus, and Frappuccino was very happy with her. We would definitely love to hire her again. Thank you so much 😊

Schedule
I work from home so I have a very flexible schedule. I am available to walk dogs around lunch time. My weekend schedule varies weekly.

I am very respectful in clients homes, offering you reassurance. I am familiar with different dog training styles, such as crating the dogs and different types of potty preferences.
A typical day
I love playing with dogs, whether that is fetch or chasing them in the back yard. Or tug a war! I’m open to whatever the dog prefers.
