Calm Dog Lover With Outdoor Space
I've been caring for animals on Rover for more than 10 years and bring a sensitive, calm energy to our interactions. I lost my pup last winter and miss him so much — yours will receive all the love I am yearning to give:) I work from home, so I can spend plenty of time hanging out, going on walks, and playing in our fenced-in yard.

Amanda took great care of our dog, Zoe. She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures. Zoe was clearly well loved while we were out of town!

Schedule
I am a self-employed artist and writer and work from home, generally, aside from a couple days I might go to a coffee shop for a few hours. I typically go out with friends or to the gym for a few hours in the evenings.

Safety, trust & environment
My dog was extremely food-driven, so I'm well-aware of the importance of having food items and trash out of reach. I welcome crates, as they can be comforting to a pet away from home. I also have a fenced yard (more of a garden/mulch situation than a big grassy area) but will never let a dog off-leash unless it is explicitly stated. I share the yard with one person (no other pets) who occasionally walks through the space, so non-reactive, friendly dogs are preferred. I love to leave my door open on nicer days and live a more indoor/outdoor lifestyle, but completely understand if you’d prefer your pup be watched while outside.
A typical day
I love to do a longer morning walk around the neighborhood. Potty breaks throughout the day. Followed by another walk in the evening after dinner. I'm happy to take your pup to the dog park to run around or adjust my schedule to fit their needs. I live in a beautiful, residential neighborhood with a few great parks and green spaces nearby.
