A typical day
Having a high energy dog myself, I am accustomed to engaging in both physical and mental stimulation on a daily basis. I enjoy walks in friendly neighborhoods or parks, backyard play, as well as indoor games to keep the mind occupied. I am also comfortable just lounging and keeping pets company if they are less mobile or energetic. I am a big believer in maintaining pet health through proper diet and lots of hydration, so I am comfortable serving more complex food systems and always have my eye on the water dish to make sure it's full!

Pet care experience
I have had a deep love of animals my entire life. Growing up I had several cats and dogs I helped care for. As an adult I’ve been caring for large and medium sized dogs as my own pets for 10 years, as well as pet sitting from my MIL's cat several times a year. I believe pets are part of the family and will go out of my way to make sure they are comfortable and cared for. I am available for a variety of levels of pet engagement, from high energy walks/ exercise to more relaxed visits/ company. I am happy to visit with your pets on my own or bring our friendly golden retriever along for a play date. Give me a shout to set up a meet and greet! I currently own my own small business and work flexible hours under my own control. This allows me to be very flexible both during the day and evenings so I can cater to your specific needs. Pets are part of the family! I believe in giving them the very best attention so they are at ease when they are missing their humans.

You’re not going to find a better sitter than Amanda. She’s super communicative, has been great with my meds needing cat, and is wonderfully understanding of schedule changes.
Amanda did an awesome job taking care of our dogs while we were out of town! They really seemed to like her and she was easy to work with. We would definitely recommend her!
