Stay at home Dog mum
I am registered dog Fosterer I have been dog sitting privately for many years. I have recently joined Rover as I have more free time nowadays. My children are all grown up, and 2 of the 3 have moved on to their own houses. I part own a Shi Poo (she belongs to my daughter) and she still lives with us. I did part own a Staff but she’s now moved house (she belongs to my son) but she still comes to stay over regularly and they all come for visits. I am at home every day for most of the day. I have pet insurance.

Amanda is very good with the dogs, friendly and kind as well as taking the dogs on a walk every day and making sure their conditions are in great order. Sleeping area was great so the dogs had a really good nights sleep as well.
Wow, what can I say about Amanda, her lovely home, and her amazing hospitality! This was the first time I’d ever left Marlo with someone who wasn’t family, and I honestly didn’t feel nervous at all. He stayed with her for 7 days, and she kept me updated throughout my holiday with pictures and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. Marlowe has allergies and follows a strict raw diet, which Amanda was more than happy to accommodate. She even got him some suitable treats, which was such a thoughtful touch. He absolutely loved playing with her children’s dogs and was genuinely sad when they left; it felt like he was on holiday too! In fact, he seemed so happy there that I think he was a little disappointed to come home. I’ve already booked him in with Amanda again next month for an even longer stay, which says everything. I think I’ve found my forever dog sitter! 💗 Thank you again, Amanda!! Marlowe can’t wait to come back! 🐾

Schedule
I do not work. So I am at home every day. I run a couple of times a week. I walk our Shi-Poo regularly when my daughter is working.

I have a fenced garden. Average size with grass. I don’t mind dogs on the settee with me. The back door is open all day long in good weather.

A typical day
I like to walk in the woods nearby or we have some beautiful fields on our doorstep. We can walk from 30 mins or hours.
