I take detailed notes, and do a meet and greet to make sure I am a good fit for your pet, and to make sure they are comfortable around me. Please let me know ahead of time if there is anything specific about your pet that you feel I should know. Whether it be medical, physical, mental, specific routines, or quirks your pet may have. The more information I have, the better I can accommodate for your pet! I will also make sure to ask this at the meet and greet.
A typical day
I will do my best to make your pet happy! I usually discuss what their favorites are during the meet and greet, and then I will implement those activities/toys/treats into my visit. I try to make them feel as safe and comfortable as possible while having fun!

Pet care experience
I have 8 years worth of experience working as a kennel attendant at a Veterinary Hospital where I did everything from feeding, walking, and having playtime with pets to bathing, administering meds, and creating detailed report cards with pictures for owners. I was raised by a veterinary technician, and have had both cats and dogs throughout my life. I have also volunteered at rescue shelters, and I am the go-to sitter for my friends and family! I am so excited about meeting your fur baby, and glad to help out in any way that I can!

Amanda has a dog of her own, named Waffles, and she is such a wonderful animal owner. She also has experience in the veterinarian field and is very knowledgeable when it comes to animals. She is incredibly kind, responsible, and reliable, which makes her a great person to watch your furry loved one. She will treat them with so much love, and she has no issues accommodating around schedules or routines.
Over the past few years Amanda has been the one I ask to watch my animals when I leave town. She’s great with my dog, 2 cats, and snake. Amanda follows instructions well and keeps me updated with pictures or any extra questions I ask. I feel great leaving town knowing she has my key and is super reliable.
