As a nursing student, my schedule this summer is very flexible since most of my coursework is online. Outside of being in class on Mondays, I’m able to structure my days around pet care responsibilities such as walks, feedings, playtime, check-ins, and overnight stays. Caring for animals already plays a big role in my daily routine with my own dog, and I genuinely enjoy building pet care into my schedule. I also stay active and love incorporating walks and outdoor time into my day whenever possible.

At this time, I only offer care in my clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routines. I aim to provide attentive, reliable care tailored to each pet’s needs, whether that includes feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication administration if needed, litter box care, or simply companionship and comfort. I also understand how important communication is while owners are away, so I make sure to provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.

Hi! I’m Amanda, a nursing student and lifelong animal lover with over 10 years of pet sitting experience. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from chihuahuas to greyhounds, labs, and pitbulls. I’ve also done extensive training work with my own dogs through both private lessons and group classes, and I have family members who work as professional dog trainers at Zoom Room. In addition to dog sitting, I’ve also cared for cats for family and friends and am comfortable helping with feeding, playtime, litter box care, and companionship. I love staying active with dogs through walks, hikes, and playtime, and I always aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away.

Amanda is an incredible petsitter! As she's grown up around dogs her entire life, she is comfortable and well versed on how to best love and care for dogs of all sizes. When she looked after our family dogs, she sent daily updates & photos that put our minds at ease. We could easily see that she has geniune love for animals of all sizes & personalities!
