Hi! I’m Amanda, and dogs are a big part of everyday life in our home. I have several dogs of my own, so I’m very familiar with different personalities, energy levels, routines, and the importance of making sure each dog receives the individual attention they need. I keep my boarding numbers limited because I want every dog staying with me to feel comfortable and cared for—not like they’re just one of many. My partner works from home, so someone is usually here throughout the day, and dogs are rarely left alone for long periods. We also have a fully fenced yard where dogs can enjoy supervised potty breaks, playtime, sniffing, and time outside throughout the day. I also have a wooded area behind my house for hiking adventures! A typical stay may include walks, outdoor time, enrichment, play, rest breaks, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I’m happy to adjust the routine based on your dog’s normal schedule, personality, energy level, and comfort. Safety is always a priority in our home. I take introductions slowly, closely supervise interactions, and can keep boarding dogs separate from my personal dogs when needed. I understand that not every dog is immediately comfortable in a new place, so they’ll be given the time and space they need to settle in. I also have experience with dog training and enjoy providing dogs with structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement during their stay.
