Hey, I’m Amanda! I’ve spent 15+ years caring for pets and have always had a genuine love for animals. My experience includes caring for my own pets, volunteering at local animal shelters, and providing pet sitting for friends, family, and clients over the years. Now that I work from home, I’m able to offer even more flexibility and companionship throughout the day. Whether your pet needs a walk, some playtime, a potty break, medication, or simply some extra cuddles while you’re away, I’m happy to give them the attention and care they deserve. I take your pet’s safety and well-being seriously, which is why I’ve completed training in Emergency First Aid & Pet CPR and hold a certification. I’m also happy to accommodate your pet’s individual needs, including specific feeding routines, allergies, medications, medical needs, or any special instructions you may have. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away. 🐶🐱❤️

This was my first time using Rover and I cannot be more impressed. Amanda R was extremely accommodating when I changed flights twice. Her price was extremely fair and she did a terrific job updating me daily with detailed notes and pictures. I would definitely use her again and highly recommend.

This was my first time leaving my elderly kitty Sara alone with someone other than family. Amanda was punctual and easy to communicate with. More importantly, she was very good about giving me updates and pictures, which reassured me. She even left Sara a tiny gift!! ? I will be using Amanda again in the future!
I always feel so comfortable leaving Buddy home with Amanda. She takes such good care of him in his home setting. He’s always happy to see her. She even made a birthday gift for Buddy to give me!

Schedule
I work full-time from home, which allows me to provide pets with plenty of attention and care throughout the day. Because I’m home during the workday, I’m able to accommodate walks, potty breaks, playtime, feeding, and regular check-ins while still maintaining my work schedule. On weekends, I have open availability and can dedicate even more time to pet care, whether it’s walks, playtime, extended visits, or overnight stays. I provide personalized care tailored to each pet’s individual needs and routine. Whether caring for pets in my home or in the client’s home, I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. This includes feeding, exercise, playtime, administering medication when needed, and following any specific instructions provided. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a calm, stress-free environment with plenty of space for relaxation and play. For in-home services, I respect the client’s home and keep their pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible to minimize disruption. My goal is to give every pet the same attention, care, and companionship they would receive from their own family.

A typical day
Walks are one of my favorite things to do with your pups! They’re a great way to get some exercise, explore, and help relieve any anxiety or boredom while you’re away. I also love playtime, cuddles, and working on training exercises. If you’ve been teaching your pup a new trick or working on their manners, I’m happy to keep practicing with them! Since I work from home, I can give them plenty of attention and breaks throughout the day while still keeping their routine consistent.
