Nice to meet you! My name is Amanda, and I have over 16 years of experience caring for animals. I completed Veterinary Assistant coursework at Madison College and have worked in dog daycare, pet care, and grooming environments. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including puppies, seniors, anxious pets, and dogs with behavioral needs. I am comfortable administering medications, following detailed care instructions, and providing plenty of exercise, enrichment, and attention. I also enjoy sending photos and updates so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for while they’re away.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special instructions. I provide updates and photos during visits so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

Amanda was great with my boy! She even arranged to come on short notice. The pictures and videos gave me no doubt my dog was having a good time. Ended up getting a nice spring snow storm and she went above and beyond to do some shoveling. Would highly recommend her for your fur babies!
Amanda did a wonderful job working with my dog. She is great at communicating with me, flexible, and reliable. My dog is very timid and slow to warm up to people, but she instantly approved of Amanda and bonded quickly!
Amanda was an outstanding sitter for my two dogs. One of my dogs is a senior and required a little extra TLC. Amanda kept me updated regularly and took some of the most beautiful photos of my pets! She was simply wonderful. I highly recommend.
Amanda took amazing care of our dogs, and our house, while we were out of the country on vacation. She made sure to send us lots of pictures of the dogs and how they were doing. She was even kind enough to bring her own toys and treats for the dogs. We have a foster who is really afraid of new people, and Amanda was patient with her and really helped her learn to trust new people. I felt so comfortable having Amanda watch our dogs while we were gone, and we will definitely be having her watch them again. I can't recommend Amanda highly enough, she's truly a "dog whisperer"!

Schedule
I work full-time caring for animals and am available for pet care before and after work, on weekends, and on many holidays. Pet sitting has been a part of my life for over 16 years, and I enjoy spending my free time caring for pets and helping owners feel comfortable while they are away.
