❤️🐾Find My Business on Facebook 🐾❤️ ✨Amanda Rose Pet Care✨ The short story: I care about being the best at what I do, especially when it involves caring for people’s loved ones! The long story: I was 13 when I first started pet sitting for animals in my neighborhood and I have made it a lifelong passion. I have experience caring for more than just cats and dogs! I've cared for birds, iguanas, snakes, horses, goats, guinea pigs, chickens, and even ferrets! All animals welcome! My philosophy on animal care: 🐾 Animals are family - caring for your pet is the same a caring for a precious member of your family. I don’t take that responsibility lightly. 🐾Communication is Key - You can expect multiple video and picture updates from me morning, afternoon, and night. You do not have to respond to these messages but they are sent as a courtesy with frequently and consistently to give you peace of mind. 🐾 Furbabies love their routines - Animals thrive on predictability to make them feel secure. You can count on me to follow your instructions with precision and care! 🐾 Safety first - in any given situation when I am caring for your pet, I will always prioritize their safety and err on the side of caution. I am CPR certified for cats and dogs by the American Red Cross. ✨ Other helpful info ✨ If your dog requires potty breaks throughout the night, please book the puppy rate.

Amanda was amazing! We didn't have to worry at all about our husky Lilly! She sent numerous pictures and messages to let us know how things were going back home. She went the extra mile by taking care of things she didn't have to like feeding our fishy, Thicc Shark and watering our plants. She was respectful, personable, and easy to work with. We will definitely be using her again! 5 stars all the way around!! Book with Amanda and you will not be disappointed. 😀

My ideal client is someone who wants their pet cared for in their home. I thrive on clear communication and clear expectations. I love it when people take time write down exactly what their pets needs and likes so that I may provide the best services possible! I empathize with how nerve wracking it can be to leave our furbabies in the care of a stranger, and I am prepared to go above and beyond to make you and your loved one feel as comfortable as possible. If your pet has a routine they are used to, please communicate that to me! Your pet is my priority when they are in my care.

Meet & Greet- After you book with me, one of the first things I will ask about is a time for me to come to get to know your pet as well as any words/commands that are familiar to them so I can speak to them in the language they understand best. It is important for my safety and the safety of the animal that we are able to communicate. I am also open to using treats, toys, and any other sort of praise to help us both have the best experience possible! Routines - your routines are my routines! I want to know what your pet is used to. I have no problem modifying my own routines to meet the needs of your furbaby! Emergency Contacts - I will always make it my business to know the nearest pet ER to your home and any veterinary info you can provide is also really helpful. Constant care: if you are booking me for house sitting and would like me to be able there 24/7, please mention that in your booking request.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
