Pet Care & Play While You’re Away!
I have a lifetime of experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes as well as 9 years professionally training dogs of all shapes, sizes, breeds and temperaments. I train basic and advanced obedience, working dogs, service animals and more. I am confident and comfortable caring for dogs that otherwise might be difficult for others without experience in the behavioral field, while keeping safety at the forefront of every interaction. Additionally, I have 5 years of vet tech experience, giving me the ability and willingness to care for pets with medical problems, senior pets, pets requiring medication or pets with special needs. I have owned and cared for farm animals for much of my teenage and adult life, allowing me to offer care for pets outside of the home such as bovine, horses, goats, pigs and chickens. I am comfortable with birds, reptiles and exotic pets, having raised rabbits most of my life as well as owning guinea pigs, snakes, sugar gliders and a quaker parrot. I am CPR certified and have attended several emergency care courses for cats and dogs. My passion has led me to providing pet care and dog training services full-time, allowing for me to provide services for you and your pets year-round!

I am situated on 4 acres in Loris. I am set up to care for dogs of different temperaments and preferences and have multiple fenced in yards to allow for play times and potty times in small groups or individually as needed. In the summertime, morning bathroom breaks are longer to allow for plenty of playtime before it gets too hot outside. I provide at LEAST 4 bathroom breaks throughout the day. During peak heat hours, outside breaks are shorter but indoor play is prioritized. Once things cool off in the evening, I provide another longer playtime outside. Not every dog cares for or does well with other dogs so temperament testing will be done before they are free to play with the others. All dogs are supervised when out at all times. Dogs in my home will be kenneled for bedtime or if I need to run a short errand (groceries, doctor appointment, private training lesson with a client, etc.) Care in the client's home will be discussed before the job starts. Everybody has different preferences and I strive to provide the best care possible for pets while owners are away!

Amanda always responded to my questions before the stay in a timely manner. She sent pictures of my pup while we out of town with a note of how he was doing. When we picked him up, he was exhausted (she has a few dogs of her own) he evidently had played very hard that morning. I was pleased with Amanda's service and will use her again.
Absolutely awesome.. she is the Best! Took care of my two fur babies as if they were her own. Felt good about leaving them in her care. She also checked in with me to let Me know they had adapted and was playing with her own fur babies and took pictures and sent to me. When I went to Pick them up, Bella my labradoodle would have stayed and played with Amanda’s big boy fur baby Teke
Excellent Choice for your fur baby! Amanda takes pride in providing quality care. My Cane Corso took immediately to the environment and Amanda's presence. I would definitely recommend Amanda over and over again.

I provide pet care and training services full time, year-round! I am available for last minute requests and can handle care for pets with special needs or behavioral problems- keeping safety for both parties as a priority.
