I work full time as a teacher so your pet will spend 8 hours in the garage/back yard area while I'm at work. Once I get home we do chores and get all the energy out and then everyone is inside together. I like to sleep with my dogs and your pup is welcome to join the party if that's what helps him/her feel safe.

I have 4 friendly dogs to give your pet company. I can also easily kennel your pup separately if that is what he/she is used to. There is plenty of room in the garage to roam around or I can kennel in the house if you'd prefer.

I would like to know the age, breed, and how they get on with other dogs. I have the ability to separate my dogs from yours and still provide great care but I would prefer us all to be together. I also have cats but they are pretty good at staying out of reach.
A typical day
When I get home from work the first thing we do is play fetch or chase together. Then the dogs join me for chores. Its fun to see them interact with chickens and goats for the first time!

Welcome to the dog farm!! In my home, pets are a part of the family. I live on a mini farm with dogs, cats, goats and chickens. I have a 1 acre fully fenced back yard that is great for exercise. I also breed mini aussies, so they are on the property but with a separate home. I work full time so while I'm at work your pup will be in a fenced area in the garage with outdoor access. I can put them in with my dogs or separate them (especially if your female is in heat). I'm also happy to board puppies and expecting mommas. While your dog is here, they will get to help with chores, run around chasing my dogs, and snuggle up on the couch. I aim to provide engaging and affordable care. I am equipped to house more than one dog family at a time but will always check with you before I add another pooch to the pack. My setting is great for social dogs who enjoy romping and playing with others. My setting is not ideal for dogs that need to physically be with a human most of the time (bc I'll be teaching every day) and dogs that don't get along with others. Again, I have the ability to separate dogs with plenty of space but it would limit their physical time with me. My cats are experts at getting away so I'm not concerned if your dog hasn't had any experience with felines. It is truly a joy for me to introduce the "city dog" to the "farm dog" life and see where their natural instincts lead.

Amanda took such great care of our two dog. We generally board our dogs at the vet when we are out of town but I don’t think we will ever again. Our collie loved running around with their family dog and pretending to be a working dog. We were out of town nearly a month and our dogs found themselves at a home away from home. Will definitely use her again next time we are away.
