Hi! My name is Amanda, and I have 18 years of pet care experience. I have had pleasure of owning three dogs over the course of my adult life. I currently have a senior dog named Benson and this Summer my family and I adopted a pup named Nash. I use to foster dogs and cats throughout college and several friends and family have relied on me to care for their four-legged family member(s) over the years. I have experience with dogs of all ages from puppies to seniors and I am certified in Pet First Aid/CPR through the American Red Cross.

Amanda is by all means, a great caregiver. She has 3 children, and 2 dogs, and does a fantastic job managing them. She is very punctual with feeding the dogs, and walking them. She stays on top of their water, and makes sure they have plenty of exercise
There is a difference between someone who takes care of a pet and someone who truly cares and treats a pet like family. Amanda goes beyond for pets and animals treating them like family and caring for their health and needs. She truly has a passion for it.
Amanda has always been an amazing pet mom. I got to see her older dog experience life with the kids when they were younger and he definitely got special treatment and 1-on-1 time with her to make him know how loved he was. She was aware of his overstimulation or needs to be in a quiet space as well. As long as I've known her she has had labs and they are very well behaved and loved. She makes sure they get plenty of attention, exercise and treats (to an extent). Dogs have been one of her passion projects that has been set aside while prioritizing her family and primary job, but I know she wants to slowly expand into a more dog-care related role. I would high recommend Amanda to care for my pets, boyfriend, aunts, nieces, grandpa, neighbors, etc. She is a genuine person who has that natural ability to care and be present for anyone.

Schedule
Im currently working from home and have a flexible schedule, so I have a great amount of time to spend with your dog(s) in my home and take them out throughout the day. My husband Martin will also join me on walks/trails at times when he is home in the evening and weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
I offer in-home boarding. Provide daily walks around the neighborhood and walking trails in the area. Dog treats are also provided, unless declined by dog owner. All dogs boarding must be crate trained for nightly sleep for their safety and the safety of other dogs.
Pets
A typical day
My family and I love to be outdoors. We go on walks often and enjoy checking out our local walking trails with our pups. We would love to include your dog(s) on trail adventures if that is something they enjoy too. Lots of belly rubs, cuddles and quality time is a must of course! Depending on your dog(s) level of energy and interest, a game of fetch, tug-of-war or hide and seek is always fun and keeps dogs stimulated.

- Please let me know your dog’s routine. What do they love or dislike. Does your dog(s) have any special needs or behaviors I should be aware about. Do they have any allergies and does anything make them scared or anxious. All dogs that board with me must be up to date on their vaccinations, as I do have two dogs of my own and will boarding up to two dogs at times.
