Dependable Care for Your Pet
I know firsthand that pets are family—I love my own senior dog, Bleu, with my whole heart, and I will bring that exact same devotion to your furry family members. Having grown up with dogs, cats, and horses my entire life, I am entirely comfortable with all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. I pride myself on being highly reliable, dependable, and flexible. I am fully available during weekends and holidays, making it easy to accommodate your busy schedule and give you total peace of mind while you are away. Every pet has unique needs, and my goal is to make my time with them the absolute best part of their day (my dog and I love our routine!) I believe walks are about more than just exercise. I make sure dogs get to stretch their legs, do their business, and safely explore the world through plenty of sniffing. Thanks to my extensive experience with multiple positive reinforcement and clicker training sessions, I practice calm, reward-based interaction to keep your dog feeling safe and confident. Whether I am visiting a dog or a cat, your pet will get my full, undivided attention. I always make time to play with them using their favorite toys and follow their exact home routine.

Safety, trust & environment
I follow all clients’ directions whether entering their home or on walks. I will crate the pet if requested and cleanup any accidents or the litter box. I will always double check that all gates or doors are locked while leaving.
Ratings and reviews
Amanda is one of the most caring and responsible pet owners I know. She is a true animal lover and cares for all animals as her own. She can match any dog’s energy to meet their needs and ensure they’re getting the perfect amount of exercise and fun.
Amanda is a great cat sitter! She came by twice a day to empty the litter box, feed, and socialize with my agoraphobic cat for whom boarding is not an option. It comforted Moo [and me!] to know that he wasn't completely alone for the weekend.

- I love a meet & greet! Before walking or watching a new pet, I need to understand their behavioral triggers, medical needs, and daily routines to ensure safety and prevent unexpected emergencies. Things I like to know include for dogs- Does the dog pull, lunges at squirrels, or bark at other dogs? Are they afraid of loud noises (motorcycles, trucks) or reactive to specific things (children, bicycles, men)? Does the dog wear a harness, collar, or martingale, and can they back out of it? What words do they know for "leave it," "come," or "stop"? Do they have allergies, and are you allowed to use treats for positive reinforcement? Things I like to know for cats- Does the cat bolt for the door when it opens? Where are their favorite hiding spots so you can verify they are safe? Where do they like to be pet, and what are their boundaries? Are they free-fed or on a strict schedule, and how do they get their wet food? Where is the box located, and where should you dispose of the waste?
