Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m a full-time online student, which allows me to be home the majority of the day and provide consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, structured meals, playtime, and plenty of attention. I keep a calm, predictable schedule and adjust routines to match each pet’s normal habits as closely as possible. Because I’m experienced balancing multiple animals of different ages and energy levels, care never feels rushed or chaotic. Boarding pets are treated as part of the household, not as drop-ins, and I’m available throughout the day to ensure they’re comfortable, safe, and well cared for.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I provide care in a calm, structured home environment and take time to understand each pet’s routine, preferences, and boundaries before and during their stay. I introduce new dogs slowly, supervise interactions, and adjust care based on personality, energy level, and comfort—not a one-size-fits-all approach. I maintain a clean, secure space with close supervision, regular potty breaks, and plenty of opportunities for rest and enrichment. I’m experienced caring for senior pets, rescues, and animals with medical or behavioral needs, and I carefully follow all feeding schedules, medication instructions, and special care plans. Clear communication is important to me. I provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. Whether pets are staying in my home or I’m caring for them in theirs, I treat every animal and space with respect, attention, and care—just as I would my own.

Information Amanda P. would like to know about your pet
Before a stay, I ask pet parents to share a few important details so I can provide the best care possible. This includes feeding schedules, potty routines, medication needs, and any medical or behavioral considerations. I also like to know how pets do around other animals, new environments, and unfamiliar people. Understanding a pet’s personality—whether they’re shy, energetic, senior, or anxious—helps me tailor care, routines, and introductions appropriately. For dogs, information about leash manners, training cues, crate preferences, and comfort with walks or yard time is especially helpful. For cats, knowing handling preferences, hiding spots, and stress triggers makes a big difference. The more I know ahead of time, the smoother and calmer the experience will be for everyone. My goal is always to maintain familiar routines and help pets feel safe, comfortable, and at home.
A typical day
A typical day is built around keeping pets comfortable, engaged, and relaxed. Mornings start with potty breaks, feeding, and some quiet time to ease into the day. Depending on each dog’s energy level, we’ll do a walk, yard time, or light play, followed by rest or enrichment activities like puzzle toys or supervised free time. Throughout the day, pets receive regular potty breaks, companionship, and attention as part of the household routine. I rotate play, walks, and downtime so dogs never feel overstimulated, and cats are given calm interaction or space based on their preferences. Evenings are all about winding down—dinner, gentle play or walks, and lots of cozy time. I focus on maintaining each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe, settled, and at home rather than boarded.

Cat care experience
I’ve been actively involved in animal rescue in Brevard County since I was a preteen and continue that work today. Through PAWS and Space Coast Feline Network (SCFN), I’ve worked hands-on with cats of all backgrounds—including ferals, seniors, kittens, and cats with medical needs, disabilities, or behavioral challenges.
Reviews

Amanda took care of my Lil girl for a week. She was amazing 👏 she went above and beyond with her and her other dogs. Kali loved being there. Amanda keep me updated everyday and sent pictures. She and her husband treated kali like one of their own. I will definitely be having Amanda for Kali's permanent babysitter as long as she is in this doggie business 😃 and is willing to take her... 5 stars for sure!!!!!!!

Absolutely wonderful! 10/10 My dog had a blast, and was well taken care of. Very lovely!

Amanda did a wonderful job introducing her three dogs to ours one at time. She took her time and made sure they worked individually and then as a group. I felt really safe leaving our dog in her care. He loves playing with other dogs and she provided him a great place to do this. I will be using her awesome service again.
I can’t say enough good things about Amanda and the care she provided for my two dogs while I was out of town. From the moment I reached out, she was responsive, kind, and incredibly reassuring during a stressful time. She treated my dogs like her own, making sure they were well cared for, loved, kept on their routine and given daily medications as prescribed. I received regular updates that gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Coming home to two happy, relaxed pups meant everything to me. I’m truly grateful for Amanda’s reliability, compassion, and dedication, and I would trust her again without hesitation.
