Loving Care When You’re Not There
I’ve been a dog lover and animal-obsessed human for as long as I can remember! I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and caring for them has always been second nature to me. From training a playful puppy to gently caring for senior dogs with complex health needs, I’ve handled it all with patience, love, and lots of treats. I volunteer regularly at Cocos Heart Dog Rescue, so I have seen and worked with dogs of all backgrounds. I’m attentive to details, comfortable administering medications, and quick to pick up on behavior cues. Whether it’s energetic walks, snuggly downtime, or special care routines, your pup will be in safe, loving hands with me.

In my home, pets are my babies. I have a fenced-in yard area that’s perfect for safe outdoor play, plus plenty of walking trails nearby for fun adventures. My space is cozy and pet-friendly with lots of toys, blankets, and extra supplies on hand, including crates if needed. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual needs, whether that’s sticking to their regular feeding and potty schedule, giving medication, or just providing extra snuggles. I also love making homemade dog treats (with owner approval, of course!) as a fun, healthy bonus. Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m caring for them in your home, I do everything I can to make them feel safe, loved, and at ease.

I cannot say enough great things about Amanda and the amazing care she gave my dog while I was away. From the moment they met, my pup absolutely adored her — tail wags, excited barks, and all! Amanda has such a natural connection with animals, and it was clear from the start that my dog felt safe, happy, and loved in her care. While I was gone, Amanda kept me updated with pictures and sweet messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. She went above and beyond — not just feeding and walking, but truly spending quality time with my dog, keeping her routine, and showering her with affection. I came home to a relaxed, happy pup, and it was clear she had been in the best hands. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to ask Amanda to dog sit again — and honestly, I think my dog is already counting down the days until she gets to see her again!
Amanda is extremely caring, kind and responsible in so many ways but ESPECIALLY when it comes to animals. She has the biggest heart and cares so much for all living creatures. She is very organized, and will be on time and on top of all her duties and responsibilities. Amanda is wonderful and I am confident she will be the best caregiver for all of your furry friends ❤️🐾

Pet care fits perfectly into my life because I’m a total homebody and love having pets around! I work a hybrid job with a flexible schedule, so I’m home often during the week and usually free on weekends. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or just being around for comfort, I have the time and flexibility to give your pet the attention they deserve.

- I like to know everything that will help me give your pet the best care possible! This includes their daily routine (feeding times, walk schedules, etc.), any health concerns or medications, favorite activities and toys, and anything that might make them anxious or uncomfortable. I also appreciate knowing how they interact with other dogs and people, as well as any training cues or commands you use. The more I know about their personality and needs, the more I can make them feel at home and loved!
