Hello there pet parents, my name is Amanda! I am currently a pet sitter, and free lance babysitter. I hear you're looking for a pet sitter.. well you're just in luck. I am a New York City native, so I know how to navigate through majority of the neighborhoods. I grew up having many different dogs. A Pomeranian, American PitBull, and I currently own a kitty named Alaska. I have over 10+ years of dog experience, and 8+ years of cat experience. I also have over 9 years of experience working with children of all ages. I’ve worked with pets who have anxiety, diabetes, arthritis, and a few other conditions. Animals naturally gravitate towards me because I have a very gentle empathetic aura. I love cuddling and playing fetch. I’m all for dog parks, and long walks near the water if the client is comfortable. Animals love me because I am super affectionate, selfless, empathetic, energetic, and most importantly committed. I'm very passionate about animals, the environment & caring for kids. My dream is to open my own pet care company, and a babysitting company. Why not both! I am a non-smoker. Fun fact about me, I love 80's music. My certifications include the American Red Cross First Aid Dog and Cat course. References can be Provided. I am available to care for your pup if you are located in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Hoboken, and Jersey City. Fees may apply. Note* * Any house sitting bookings that are not overnight but end after 12:00 am will be charged an additional fee. That will cost cab fare for safety purposes. I am a freelancer, so I have plenty of time to care for your furry pets ❤️ I can provide potty breaks every 2-5 hours. I refill water bowls every day with fresh water, scoop litter every day, and I always attend to my clients specific needs. I send photos when your furry pets are eating, having fun, interacting with other doggos! Cuddles, playtime, love, and attention are a must. I’ve loved animals all my life, and your pet will know that they are loved by me. I make sure to not walk doggies near any glass, and on hot days I provide water on the go for your pups. I’m knowledgeable about asthma, arthritis in pets. I have cared for over 200 pets in New York City, and New Jersey.

Amanda was super reliable and trustworthy, and even spent extra time with my cat when she could. She sent tons of photos and videos to keep me updated, I would definitely recommend!
We had such a great experience with Amanda! She stayed with our dog Copper while we were away for a whole week and took great care of him and our home. She kept us updated every day and was super communicative. We came back to a very happy and well cared for Copper, and our home was just the way we left it, which is more than we can ask for! We are so grateful we were able to find someone that we can trust with him and would absolutely book her again. Highly recommend!
Amanda went out of her way to make our cats as comfortable as possible! She provided many videos and pictures throughout her stay. I’ve used Rover in multiple states and countries, but I have never seen my babies so relaxed and happy with a sitter! She gives a lot of love and animals truly love her. Amanda is very respectful in her communication and makes sure she provides care as you like it. Because of unforeseen circumstances, we came home two days later than planned and Amanda had no problem extending her stay. This was a huge help! I will definitely book her again.
Amanda is a great, trustworthy sitter! She really makes the effort to get to know your pet so they feel comfortable while you’re away. She went above and beyond with my cat, making sure he is brushed, taking care of litter, cleaning food dishes, etc. I’d highly recommend her to anyone!
Amanda did a great job of taking care of Zuli. She provided very thorough updates and pictures so I felt assured Zuli was doing alright. She seems generally concerned/invested in the animals shes taking care of. Very professional, would certainly book again
Amanda was great! She is very trust worthy and She sent a lot of videos, spent time playing with him and overall, took great care of my Biff!

Schedule
I am freelancer, so I have a flexible schedules. I am currently able to provide house sitting, drop in visits, and boarding visits at any time. For any drop in visits my hours are from 8 am to 11 pm Monday-Sunday. Tuesday- Thursdays I am not available to provide walks / pet care between 11:45-12:35 pm.

Safety, trust & environment
I care for your pets by providing loving massages kissing and rubs. Your pet will always will love affection, and attention from me if your pet is okay with it of course. Depending on the pet, and their boundaries I play soothing music to relax them as well. Time management and reliability are a must. Your pet will always be fed, and nurtured. I typically send photos when pets eat so my clients are assured all is well in that department.

A typical day
We will go to dog parks, play fetch, go for long walks, have lots of playtime and bonding, do tricks, exercise, have lovely picnics. I love going to Central Park. We will cuddle. Just enjoy our time and be in the present. I love doing tricks!!

- I would like to know the preferred walk and feeding times. Also, what parks they love going to. It’s important I know if they need special attention or if they are aggressive. What are their favorite toys? How are they with children and other dogs? Does your dog have any allergies? Do they prefer walking in the sun or shade? Does your dog have any medical conditions? I do not have any breed preferences. I love all types of dogs.
