Hi pet lovers! I'm Amanda, and I have loved animals since I was a small child, saving inchworms on the playground. I want to care for your pets while you're away because leaving your animals behind is a scary concept. With me, you'll know they're safe and being loved. A little about me: I have been around animals since about age 10, when I adopted my first dog, Sandy. She was a 100 pound german shepherd and I prided myself on being able to walk her as a small kid (more of a testament to Sandy's patience than my strength). We loved her so much that we went ahead and adopted another big dog named Hunter. I lived with them up until I left my parents' home in New Jersey and moved to DC. I couldn't bear a life without pets, so since then, I have adopted two cats, River and Cannoli, who keep me on my toes and make me laugh daily. I am earning my Master's in education, so at this time, I have open flexibility to take on new clients. I hope I can help you out with your pet care search! I will care for your pets first and foremost with your desires in mind. I am confident in my pet care methods and happy to put them into use, however I am more than happy to adhere to your guidelines should there be specifics involved in caring for your pet. Your preferences are important!

Amanda was the best! It was my first time using Rover. I was nervous about having someone watch our little buddy but Amanda sent lots of pictures and we could tell how comfy and happy Remi was with her. Highly recommend!

Amanda was so flexible in coming in to sit our rescue pup on short notice. We got tons of pics throughout her stay and she was super responsive. She even left us an adorable drawing of our girl welcoming us home from getting married. Thank you Amanda!!
