Pet care experience

I count all dogs as friends!

I have loved animals since I was a young child. I love caring for dogs and also the flexibility to travel, so I do not have a pup of my own. I started dog sitting in high school and college while on breaks from school and it brings me so much joy to care for everyone's pups.

So happy we found Amanda, she's great with our dog and he's so happy to stay with her and gets excited when he sees her. It's such a relief knowing he's somewhere he loves and in great care while we're out of town!

Was very accommodating and flexible when my flight was delayed. My pup looked happy and healthy when I picked her up. Would definitely recommend.

We ran into an issue and she was great about adding another day! Lots of pictures and texts. So thankful for her!

Schedule

I work full-time in a physical therapy clinic, so I am typically able to run home during my lunch break if dogs are in need of a restroom break. I am always excited to spend time with animals in any way possible! Sometimes this looks like stopping at someone's house on the way home from work if they need walked, staying in their home, or their dog(s) staying with me.

Safety, trust & environment

I do not have any pets of my own, so if your dog does not get along well with other dogs they will be comfortable in my home. I have a roommate who also loves dogs but does not have any pets. If your dog(s) love others, we can enjoy walks and dog parks and play dates with others! I am very careful when entering and residing in others homes, and try to make sure the environment is the same or cleaner than I left it.

A typical day

I love to engage dogs in activities they enjoy! For some that may mean puzzles or games at home, for some that may mean trips to local parks or places to walk, perhaps dog parks if everyone is comfortable!

I always like to know about any medical needs they have and any weird quirks. I also like to know anything that motivates them and parts of your routine.
