I also like to know feeding details if applicable, medical needs, allergies, and how your pet does with other dogs or people. The more I know ahead of time, the smoother and happier each visit will be for your pet.
A typical day
Each visit is tailored to your pet’s needs. Walks usually include fresh air, sunshine, and plenty of sniff time, whether it’s a relaxed stroll or a more active walk. During drop-ins, I make sure pets get potty breaks, water, movement, and attention—plus some calm hang-out time so they feel happy and content. :)

Hi! I’m Amanda, and I’ve been caring for animals most of my life—from chickens and horses to gerbils and rabbits. After moving away from “farm” life, I began fostering dogs while they waited for their forever homes (including a Great Dane!). Now I’m happily settled with a senior chihuahua rescue of my own. I’m located in the Beach Haven area near Mayo Clinic and am happy to travel within the Jacksonville area to provide great care for your pups. I work as an EMT, so I’m calm under pressure, highly attentive, and confident administering medications and noticing changes in behavior. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and I bring patience, reliability, and lots of love to every visit. Amanda has been wonderful! She always arrives on time and sends great pictures of the dogs on their walk. She goes the extra mile and plays with them and gives them some extra love before leaving.
