Hi! I’m Amanda, and I’ve been caring for animals most of my life—from chickens and horses to gerbils and rabbits. After moving away from “farm” life, I began fostering dogs while they waited for their forever homes (including a Great Dane!). Now I’m happily settled with a senior chihuahua rescue of my own. I’m located in the Beach Haven area near Mayo Clinic and am happy to travel within the Jacksonville area to provide great care for your pups. I work as an EMT, so I’m calm under pressure, highly attentive, and confident administering medications and noticing changes in behavior. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and I bring patience, reliability, and lots of love to every visit. I like to stick closely to each pet’s routine so they feel safe and comfy 😊 During drop-ins, I handle potty breaks, water, meals or medications if needed, and of course lots of attention. I treat your home with care, double-check doors and gates, and always make sure your pet is happy before I leave.

Amanda has been wonderful! She always arrives on time and sends great pictures of the dogs on their walk. She goes the extra mile and plays with them and gives them some extra love before leaving.

Dates de la garde
I work a shift-based schedule, so I usually have extra daytime availability for walks and drop-ins. On days I’m not working, most of the time my availability is wide open!
