I am currently a caregiver for a family friend and so I am always home. I have full availability to step away anytime if your pup needs a walk or your pets need a drop in for food, exercise, or lovins.

Before I take in a client I like to know how they are with cats and other dogs, small children and teens, and if they have any dietary/medical/or behavioral requirements. Temperament including aggressions and any details you'd like to share that I can do to make your pets stay more comfortable. Favorite toy, blankie, or place to be scratched. I had one visitor that hated the vacuum and one that liked to be sung a certain lullaby when feeling nervous. So we didn't vaccum and we sang to our furry friends. We can accommodate lots of quirks around here!
A typical day
When staying with me your pet will enjoy long walks, trips to the park, and lazy afternoons in the back yard sunshine. I treat all my guests like family so whatever we are doing we include our furry friends. From outside activities to cozying up on the couch for a good snuggle your pet will be sure to feel at home here. (I will do a basic bath as outdoor play deems it necessary with your permission)

Alongside my professional role, I also run a business specializing in interior painting and light remodeling. With five wonderful kids—three young adults carving their paths, an animal-loving 18-year-old son, and a sweet, gentle 7-year-old daughter—family and community are at the heart of everything I do. Growing up surrounded by animals and spending summers on my grandparents' farm instilled a lifelong love for furry friends. That bond inspires my work today as I provide attentive, loving care for pets while their families are away. Amanda was personable, with me. She was warm and caring with my dog. I am deeply in gratitude to her for the care she showed Dozer. I had an additional Rover sitter to take evening and early morning shift who did not show up nor follow instructions (Bailey) My dog would not have had good care of it were not for Amanda. She went over and above expectations.
Amanda was great with my dog Pearl. Pearl was so calm with Amanda when she came to the house and super relaxed when done with the walk.I am looking forward to Amanda walking Pearl in the future as I know they are best friends now.
