My cats are apart of my family and I always treat them like they are equal. So, I will treat your pets as a priority as well!
Information Amanda M. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know... -How they typically interact with other dogs? Do they get excited when walking past other dogs? -How do they usually interact with people? -What motivates them best? Food, affection, toys? -Do they have any triggers?
A typical day
I would love to take them to parks, long walks, and give them all of the enrichment they need! I have also picked up plenty of tips on how to keep your dog entertained from my experience working at an animal shelter.

Pet care experience
A little bit about me: Hi! I am currently a public school teacher for BCPS looking to make some extra money to pay off my student loans. I currently only have cats, but have taken care of dogs my whole life. I used to work at Small Miracles Pet Rescue which required me to walk and take care of a variety of breeds. I have also been on Rover for three years which has helped build my experience in house sitting, walking dogs, and dropping in. I am pretty fit and love to take long walks, especially with dogs! I hope you to consider me to take care of your own!

Reviews
Amanda M. cancelled a booking 1 day before it was scheduled to begin.

I booked Amanda for 10 days to watch my two kitties. I paid for 30 min and some days she was leaving at 20-23 minutes. I let her know that we had a pet camera to keep an eye on our kitties (we rarely go on vacation) , so we were able to backtrack and see activity and visit time. She gave our cats a bit of activity and did perform the essentials (feeding and cleaning water bowl, giving my cat medication in her food) but did not clean up some of the mess left over the 10 day period (given, not all do this, but cleaning up the cat food would’ve been appreciated// closing litter trash!) Most of the time she was on her phone, she and when we came back, the litter box was dirty and she left the container for dumped litter wide open, so the house smelled really bad. She was to visit once a day for 30 min, so the shorter visits were a bit disappointing. If you need the bare minimum for your kitties, I’d recommend but for future reference I’d prefer more attentiveness! Amanda’s response time was fine and she did send photos.

Always goes above and beyond. My little one needed brushing so she asked where I kept my brushes for her :)

Easy and efficient. Thank you for watching my pet while I was away🙏
