Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced in yard. I have space to accommodate crates but am also comfortable allowing dogs who are used to having free roam of the house being out if I am gone.

Information Amanda M. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know how I can make your pup as relaxed and comfortable as possible. Because of my kitties I am only comfortable watching dogs who have experience with cats. My dog can get tired of very high energy dogs so we prefer mild-moderate energy levels.
A typical day
After work we play in the backyard and go for a walk around the neighborhood. On the weekends we like to go to the dog park, off leash trails, or dog beach.

Pet care experience
My dad is a veterinarian and I grew up with at least one dog and cat always in the home. I have pet-parented dogs and cats at every age and have experience with potty-training, medication administration, and bottle/tube feeding. I own a 3 bedroom home with a fenced in backyard in a walkable neighborhood. I love taking dogs to the dog park or for long walks on the weekends. Week nights are for walks around the neighborhood. My dogs are friendly and have gotten along well with past Rover guests, but Gus has anxiety and a touch of small dog syndrome that makes him come on strongly at first. Our house would not be a good fit for a reactive dog as a result. We also have 5 cats that prefer to be ignored and are not aggressive but will give a swat to set boundaries when needed. We are unable to host dogs that do not have experience around cats.
Reviews

Amanda was amazing! This was our first time using Rover and we'll definitely book with Amanda again. Her communication was stellar and I could tell she was really caring for our dog, who came home chill and happy!

Amanda was a great host for my high-needs dog. Will definitely contact again when I'm in town!

Leo has so much fun. Will book again.

Amanda was incredible with our golden retriever puppy! We were actually getting married when she watched him and she even brought him to the ceremony for pictures and to walk down the aisle. It was so perfect. She was so good with him and clearly has lots of experience with pets of her own!
