My name is Amanda and I helped train multiple dogs growing up and a natural with all animals. I have a profound connection with dogs and love getting out in nature to explore! Hopefully your pup and I can have plenty of adventure together to ease how much they miss you ~ happy to send photo/video updates about their day or share about our activities while you were away. I truly want a dog of my own but can’t justify it given my affinity for travel, so joined Rover to foster connection with some amazing creatures and care for them as if they were my own! I promise you will be greatly pleased with the level of care and attention for your sweet baby. Thank you for entrusting me with their emotional and physical well-being!

Our usual sitter canceled a week before my out of country vacation. In stepped Amanda, and my Golden, Walter, could not have been in more capable, loving hands. Walter had a cold and Amanda dropped everything to take him to the vet two times. That’s dedication. Every step of the way, I felt Walter was cared for and loved. Schedule
I typically aim for 2-3 walks a day depending on the heat, but if only 2 walks I try to tire them out and keep them busy!

I prefer to have a crate for the dog for when I leave the house, but otherwise intend to spend much of my time with them
A typical day
I love to walk them a few times a day, typically avoid dog parks while watching other people's dogs but open to it if you know they acclimate well to the environment as well as come on command when time to go back on-leash.
