We primarily provide care in our clients’ homes, allowing pets to remain in familiar surroundings and follow their established routines. We carefully follow all instructions provided, including feeding schedules, medications, leash protocols, and home preferences. We maintain secure entry and exit practices, double-check doors and gates, and use leashes or harnesses as instructed. We’re attentive to behavior changes, appetite, and litter or potty habits, and we communicate promptly if anything seems out of the ordinary. Detailed updates and photos are provided throughout each booking to ensure peace of mind. We treat every home with the same care and respect as our own and prioritize calm, consistent interactions so pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

We ask about feeding schedules, medications, health concerns, mobility limitations, and any behavioral quirks or anxieties. Knowing how a pet reacts to new people, other animals, or changes in routine helps us provide calm, respectful care. We also like to know about leash preferences, escape tendencies, hiding spots, favorite toys, and what comfort looks like for each pet. For cats, details about litter habits, feeding routines, and boundaries are especially helpful. Clear instructions and expectations allow us to maintain consistency and keep pets safe and comfortable while their owners are away.

A typical day is centered around maintaining each pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. Care usually begins with morning visits that include feeding, fresh water, medications if needed, litter box or potty breaks, and a calm check-in to start the day. Fun activities are always tailored to the pet’s personality and energy level. For dogs, this may include walks, backyard play, enrichment toys, or relaxed companionship. For cats, activities often focus on interactive play with wand toys or lasers, window time, brushing (if welcomed), or simply quiet companionship for those who prefer observation over activity. Throughout the day, we provide structured care during scheduled visits, followed by evening check-ins that include dinner, cleanup, play or cuddles, and settling pets in for the night. Updates and photos are shared so owners can follow along and feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for.
