Availability
As a full-time high school Music and English teacher, I'm currently available late afternoons, evenings and weekends. But in the summer, I will have much more availability. My teenagers are old enough to stay home on their own, so short-term house sitting and overnight pet care are also possible for me.

I'm not able to care for pets in my home, as I have two cats that may not appreciate animal vistors. However, I can visit your home, and possibly stay overnight short term.

Let me know their general behaviour patterns, things I can do to calm them, that they really enjoy. I have trained a medium sized German Shepherd, that I had throughout my teen years. But very large dogs could be challenging for me, depending on their behaviour, etc.
A typical day
Playing with pets, as directed by their humans, and walking dogs around the neighbourhood, or taking them by car to trails if that is ok with their family.

From my first family cat at age 3, to the German Shepherd I rescued and I trained to win two 4-H County Obediance Championships, to the two wonderful cats my kids and I adopted from the SPCA, I've spent my whole life loving and caring for cats and dogs, and I look forward to caring for and loving yours:)

Our daughter Amanda has loved animals since she was very small- we got our first kitty when she was in pre-school. When Amanda was in Jr. High Svhool we acquired a stray German Shepherd which she trained herself and they won prizes together. She now has two rescue cats whom we all love and are part of the family. Anyone who needs a sitter for their pet would be lucky to have Amanda, who has a genuine affection for animals and would look after them as she does for her own cats
Amanda is an amazing and responsible lady that loves pets with all her heart. She has trained dogs to win obedience competitions and loves cats as well. I personally know her 2 cats and they are so comfortable and secure with her and she also gets along amazing with my pets. I have known Amanda for a long time and she is with no doubt one of the most loving people towards pets I have ever seen!
