Amanda took wonderful care of my high energy, 60lbs dog (Bella) for an extended period of time. Amanda went above and beyond with toys, training and mental stimulation. I don’t think Bella even had a chance to miss me! She has a place that seems ideal for hosting dogs. I would highly recommend!

If you are looking for someone that you can trust totally for the care of your pet(s), I would recommend Ms. Amanda L. Amanda really takes the time to show individual attention to each pet and treats them as she does her own. It's more than just a job to her, it's a passion for her love of animals. She is honest, caring, mature, and I feel totally safe leaving my pets in her care.

Amanda is by far the most attentive dog sitter! I admit that I am a worrier and I think about what my dogs are doing every second of the day. Amanda has the ability to put my mind at ease! When she dog sat for me, she sent me pictures of all the fun they were having while I was away. She never seemed irritated by my texts to see how they were doing. Plus my dogs absolutely love her! I don't trust anyone as much as i trust her with my beloved pups.

Amanda was wonderful with my cats while I was on vacation. She was very flexible and considerate. She texted me pictures every day! It was really comforting to know they were in such excellent care.

Safety, trust & environment

As a selective remote consultant, I've intentionally structured my work life to make pet care my primary focus. My flexible schedule allows me to dedicate full attention to your pets while maintaining their routines and meeting their individual needs. A typical pet-sitting day involves: • Early morning walks/potty breaks aligned with your pet's schedule • Dedicated playtime and exercise sessions throughout the day • Regular meal times matching your pet's home routine • Consistent medication schedules (if needed) • Afternoon activities (walks, fetch, training games) • Evening wind-down time and bedtime routine I limit my consulting work to ensure I'm available for midday walks, play sessions, and any special care requirements. By accepting only one family's pets at a time, I can maintain a calm, focused environment and adapt my schedule entirely to your pet's needs and preferences. My home office setup allows me to keep a close eye on my guests throughout the day while handling brief work tasks. Your pet's care always takes priority, and my flexible work arrangement means I can step away for any of your pets needs.

Pets

A typical day

I tailor activities to each pet's energy level and preferences! For active dogs, I offer fetch sessions in my fenced yard, neighborhood walks, or hiking adventures. Indoor activities include puzzle toys, training games (using positive reinforcement), and interactive play sessions. For more laid-back pets, we might enjoy gentle play with favorite toys, short walks, or simply relaxing together. I'm experienced in reading pet body language and adjusting activities to keep them happy and comfortable. Each pet is unique, so I love learning their favorite games and routines during our meet-and-greet to ensure they have the most enjoyable stay possible!
