I’ve worked with animals for most of my life and have experience with many different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I worked at Petco for three years and have been working at a local pet store for almost two years. I spent about a year working in doggy daycare before moving to the retail side where I still interact with dogs every day through daycare, grooming, self wash, and customers coming into the store with their pets. I also have five dogs of my own, so I’m very comfortable with the different personalities and needs that come with caring for dogs. I genuinely love animals and enjoy getting to know each one’s individual personality!

Safety, trust & environment
I take your pet’s safety seriously and treat them as I would if they were one of mine. I’ll always follow your care instructions, keep dogs safely leashed outside, make sure doors and gates are secure, and never leave a pet in an unsafe situation. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different needs and can administer medications. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages during visits so you know how your pet is doing.

Amanda is so great with Birdie!! We had not needed care for awhile so Birdie had not seen her. Yesterday Birdie seen her and gave her lots of kisses and was so happy. Always a great signal when your dog don’t forget the person! Highly recommend her!

Amanda was great to deal with, very prompt in all correspondence. Pick-up and drop off was easy, and I picked up a very happy senior pup at the end of his stay.

Schedule
I currently work full time so I’m available for weekly walks and drop in visits on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Other days can be arranged if discussed beforehand so that I can see what works with both of our schedules. I’m dependable and will make sure your pets get the attention, exercise, and care they need while you’re away.
