I’ve always had a dog in my life right from a young age. I have experience with all ages having had our Westie from 8 weeks old, right up to caring for senior dogs ensuring they feel safe and secure with their daily care routine and administering medication. You can be sure your dog will get the love and care they require, whatever their needs and they’ll be happy and content in my care.

Amanda looked after our Cavapoochon Bernie during a family holiday. We’d never left him with anyone other than friends and family before and he had a great time! Great dog sitter!

I have known Amanda for many years and know she is a responsible, trustworthy person. Amanda has always taken care of her own dogs to the highest standards providing them with a loving, safe, happy home. She provides exactly the same care for dogs she looks after for friends and family, as she does for her own. She is a great listener and will follow any instructions you give on the care of your dog to the letter. I would highly recommend her as a dog sitter.

Schedule
I don’t work so have all my time to dedicate to making sure your dog is happy and well cared for. Plenty of time for walks, play and naps throughout the day, tailored to your dogs routine. My partner works from home too, so there’s an additional human to give your dog plenty of cuddles!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fully enclosed back garden and have a Westie, Penny, who loves playing with her friends and will love having your dog to stay. We live in an area with plenty of open space for longer walks. Our house and garden are puppy-proofed with plenty of dedicated nap space. There are lots of toys to play with but please do bring your own if you have special toys or cuddlies. We’re happy for your dog to sleep wherever you prefer to help with maintaining your routine, and have experience with crate training if required. We want to create a home from home environment. We’ll send updates and photos as often as you’d like.
Pets
A typical day
We usually go for two or three walks a day. First walk after breakfast followed by play-time, cuddles or a nap. We can go further afield if your dog is a happy car passenger and we have a safety harness and dog seat in the car. Afternoon walk weather permitting and play-time with a further walk after dinner and cuddles.
