Hey there, I have been off Rover the last few years, mostly sitting through TrustedHousesitters while traveling. I just moved back to my hometown, Cary, and am excited to form new connections with local pet owners who need help with their fur babies. Throughout my 20's, I have cared for many different pets: dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, and fish. I love taking dogs for walks and playing with them in the yard or at the dog park. I enjoy reinforcing good behavior with younger dogs to help them learn. I have enjoyed keeping older dogs who are much much slower company. I'm a big animal person and love helping pets feel comfortable and loved while their humans are away!

Safety, trust & environment
Right now, I am only able to care for your animals at your home. When I dog/house sit, I always try to practice leaving the home cleaner than it was when I found it. If there's a broom around, chances are I'll use it (unless of course you ask me not to).

Amanda was a life saver. She took an energetic puppy off my hands for a couple hours a day so I could get some work done and kept the puppy busy and safe. She showed up promptly for each visit and was a quick and reliable communicator. Would definitely use again.

Schedule
I work online and my hours are flexible, so it's easy for me to run over to your place and spend time with your animal during my workday, especially if you live nearby. I set my own hours a few weeks in advance, so if you'd like me to go on an extra long walk with your puppy or spend a good chunk of time with your cats or older dog, if I know a bit in advance, chances are I'll be able to schedule it in!
