Animal-loving duo!
We are high school sweethearts living in Brooklyn with our attention hog of cat, Charlie, and leopard gecko Tulio. Amanda (she/her) has 5+ years of experience volunteering with dogs and cats (and exotic animals at a jungle sanctuary, but that's a story for another day!). She has fostered two litters of kittens and is TNR-certified and also has a soft spot for rodents and reptiles. She can give basic medical care, including oral medication and eye medication. Kellen (he/him) is a marathon runner with lots of energy who loves to spend time outside. He loves all animals and is a perfect match for dogs--including big breeds!--that want long walks around the borough and some snuggles after. Our pets might get jealous that we're spending time with yours, but they'll get over it.

Amanda and Kellen were great with our two pitties, who instantly fell in love with them. They were communicative, proactive and made us feel at ease. We have a high energy 5 yo puppy and a senior dog, who each have their unique personalities, but Amanda and Kellen took the time to get to know them and adapted accordingly. We are grateful to have found them to care for our dogs at home.

Schedule
We can typically accommodate all days and times between the two of us! Kellen is available Mondays and Tuesdays, and Amanda is available Wednesday-Friday. We can split weekends up as needed. NOTE ON HOUSESITTING: The fee on our page accounts for up to 5 hours of stay at your home. Additional fees for longer stays are as follows: 6-8 hours: +$5 per hour 9-12 hours: +$10 per hour Overnight: +$25

Safety, trust & environment
We are able to watch dogs, cats, and any smaller pets in your home and can host those smaller pets in ours. Rodents, reptiles, etc, would have a room to themselves.

A typical day
This is totally up to your pet's preference and needs! We're happy to take a spin around the neighborhood before hanging out at Maria Hernandez Park, but if your little one is more of a couch potato we can snuggle up with some treats and toys instead.
