I grew up on a farm and love all animals. We had dogs, cats, chickens, a goat and a donkey. Because my family lived in a farmhouse that was visible from the freeway, strangers would often abandon their ill, underloved, undersocialized at our home. I grew up rehabilitating dozens of dogs and cats, and then adopting them out at the local humane shelter. I worked at the SF SPCA for two years as an adoptions counselor where I helped to create thousands of happy families!
