This was our first time using rover and both the dog and I were nervous but Amanda made it easy. We did some meets beforehand and I think that really helped us. Amanda was very communicative and I’m so appreciative of that. Even though she was only there for the dog, she was also kind to the cats and even included them in the photos! We hope she’ll have us back if needed. 🖤🐾

Amanda was super accommodating and great to work with and our puppy loved her dogs! Would definitely use again.

Amanda was so flexible and laid back about taking the dog at the last minute. We also appreciated that she let Arya be weird and stand-off-ish with her anxiety. It was Arya's 1st sleepover and we are so please with how it went. Amanda is a go-to for overnights and dogs with special considerations! Thank you :)

Best person ever

Amanda is the best. Our normally skittish Doodle took to her like a duck to water. Sammy never warms up to people that quickly. Amanda provided daily updates and sent pictures along the way. We highly recommend her and will be sure to use her again.

Zero Stars. Will NEVER use Amanda AGAIN! Rover Review for Amanda; Prince’s stay from 11/23/2019 to 11/24/2019 It’s taken me a couple of days to write this review because I’ve been playing the events over and over in my mind. I wanted to adequately convey our experience with the service or lack thereof from Amanda during our dog’s stay. Prince is a 4year old, 10lb Yorkie. I booked his stay 3 days in advance and provided drop off and pick up times. A text message was sent to Amanda prior to dropping Prince off but she was not at her location and the drop off time had to be altered. Amanda never provided updates or pictures of Prince during his overnight stay. My son picked Prince up earlier than the previously arranged time. When my husband and I returned home, he noticed Prince had a wound; what appeared to be a dog bite on the upper part of his back. I immediately texted Amanda and asked about Prince’s stay and told her of the wound. She initially said the stay was “fine”. By the next text, she became defensive, accusatory and gave conflicting stories as to what transpired during Prince’s stay. At her request, I sent her pictures of the wound. To my surprise, she called me a liar and stated, “the wound was old” and began to tell me how a 24hr wound would look. Prince hasn’t been around any other dogs in months. Considering she is not a Veterinarian; her opinion isn’t credible. The picture clearly shows broken skin and blood that hardened to form what looked like a scab. The wound wasn’t treated while in her possession. The wound could not be clearly visible due to his coat. It was discovered after we petted and rubbed him. I tried to communicate with her in a civil manner to determine what transpired but that was unsuccessful. She was very passive-aggressive. One would hope that someone who is trusted and paid to care for their four-legged family member, would be responsible and considerate. Unfortunately, that was NOT our experience with Amanda. We are completely disappointed with her service. What makes matters worse is she didn’t express any remorse, care, concern or extended an apology. We’ve used Rover in the past and have never had any negative experiences. We’re questioning using this service again. We will NEVER use Amanda and wouldn’t recommend her to anyone else. I will share this experience with all my friends and family on other Social Media platforms.
