Home full-time: Near park and trail
Hello! I'm Amanda and I'd love to meet your furcompanion! As a dog lover (cats too!), I've taken care of many dogs over the last number of years. Some of my favourite parts of dog sitting are beautiful summer walks, teaching new tricks, and giving lots of belly rubs. I work from home and am looking for a fur friend to keep me company (maybe give me an excuse to take a break?). My husband also works from home so rest assured there's plenty of love to be given. We have no pets and only take one dog at a time. I understand how much you miss your furbaby and will send plenty of amazing photos of your pup! ❤️ P.S- I'm fully vaccinated

Amanda was amazing and took really good care of Boogie (she didn't even mind that he made a mess and spread kibble all over her floor 🫣). She also made sure to send me updates throughout the day, which I really appreciated. Will definitely book again!

Amanda was very lovely with my dog Winston. First time using rover and Amanda was the best. She sent me updates as much as possible and was concerned when Winston wasn’t eating (he protests when things change).

We had a fantastic experience with Amanda! She took wonderful care of our two dogs, Paco and Panda. From the moment we dropped them off, we felt confident they were in great hands. Amanda kept us updated throughout the day with plenty of pictures and videos, which really gave us peace of mind. She handled both dogs with ease—even during walks, which is no small feat with two energetic pups! Her apartment was clean, cozy, and perfectly suited for dogs, making it a comfortable environment for Paco and Panda. Amanda was incredibly responsive, trustworthy, and clearly loves animals. We’ll definitely be bringing our dogs back to her again. Highly recommend!
Amanda and her husband did an amazing job taking care of Mochi while we were on vacation. Mochi can be hit or miss with other dogs and Amanda made sure that she kept mochi away from other dogs on their walks, and made sure she felt comfortable and safe. She was in constant communication with us sending updates and a bunch of photos/ videos which made us feel at ease knowing Mochi was taken care of. Would definitely recommend Amanda and will be using her services again in the future.

Schedule
Generally we walk dogs in the morning before 9 am, between 12 pm -1 pm, and before bed time. We are flexible and can accomodate your dogs schedule at your request.

Safety, trust & environment
I take my responsibility very seriously and am always aware of creating a safe and happy environment for your dog. A few ways I strive to do this by always ensuring your pup is on a leash, being aware of passing dogs, and only giving treats that you've given.
A typical day
Our favourite activity is obedience training. We also like to play tug, fetch and try enrichment activities. Our favourite place to go for a walk is on a trail close to our home. In the evenings, we enjoy cuddling on the couch!
