Additionally, I take notes and am attentive to any particular instructions, so the transition is smooth, and the pet feels comfortable with me right from the start. Understanding a dog's personality and care requirements in advance is essential to making them feel safe, happy, and stress-free.
A typical day
When caring for pets, I love keeping them active and engaged with a variety of fun activities. I'll take them on hikes, giving them a chance to explore nature and get plenty of exercise. We’ll also enjoy lots of playtime, whether it’s a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or just running around in the yard. For dogs that enjoy a little mental stimulation, I’ll introduce interactive toys or puzzles to keep them entertained and sharp. My goal is to make sure they have fun, stay active, and feel loved while in my care!

I’ve had the privilege of training five service dogs and am excited to continue pursuing my passion for working with dogs. Growing up surrounded by dogs has given me invaluable experience in understanding and caring for dogs with all kinds of personalities and needs!

My cats were very content when I returned from my trip. They seemed well taken care of, and Amanda sent daily pictures and notes. She also made sure a package was brought in that I was expecting.
