Having grown up with dogs and owning my own as an adult for many years, taking care of dogs comes naturally to me. I am the go-to “favorite aunty” when it comes to sitting for my friends’ dogs. Given I work from home, I figured I could expand my services and care for dogs that aren’t already “in the family.”

She’s not only honest and reliable but has a special ability to build meaningful connections with dogs, including my own dog, Lola. Amanda’s bond with Lola is so strong that Lola now considers her more than just a friend—she’s basically her aunt!

Schedule
I work for myself from home, so I set my own schedule, offering me lots of flexibility. I love taking walks already, so taking a furry friend with me fits in nicely with my routine. In addition, I love the cuddles and companionship a dog offers and am happy to be a calming, loving presence for your dog during the day or overnight, if need be.

Safety, trust & environment
I have an outdoor space attached to my apartment for emergency outdoor visits, plus I love going on walks around my neighborhood for a little extra movement and exercise and potty needs. If there is a nearby dog park or a fenced in yard at the pet’s home, I’m happy to utilize that for more off leash play. If the dog is open to it, I’m a big fan of snuggling on the couch together.
