I’m soon to be off for the summer as I’m a teacher for special need children at a local school district! I love spending my summers gardening, working around the house, spending time with loved ones, and eating delicious food. My cat of 17 years recently passed and Rover seemed a wonderful option to keep myself busy and hopefully ease some heartache by pouring my love into your pets.

About Amanda I.
Safety, trust & environment
My home cares for three indoor cats who are happy, healthy and loved. I have a room that can house a cat friend or two that will keep them safe and separate with their own litter boxes, food, cat tree, water fountain, windows to sit in, and places to hide if need be. I also have other rooms they can explore where we can allow them to safely find some enrichment if they want, while our three cats remain safely in the basement or our bedroom. All plants we have are not accessible to any of our cats for their safety.

What they enjoy, what they don’t enjoy, any specific you would like as parents (a daily picture or three, an update on their day, what they’ve eaten and drank, etc!), their vet information, and how to make them happiest!
A typical day
Depending on the pet, I’ll follow their lead! If they want an easier going day, I’m happy to spend time with them lounging. If they would prefer something with higher energy, I’ll work to make sure they get their exercise and happiness through play.

I’ve taken care of pets all my life, from my own dogs growing up, to our cats now, various farm animals and always being the first one trusted to care for friend’s and family’s loved furry family members. I’m comfortable with giving medication to dogs and cats, I’m comfortable with pets who are young and learning to our senior pets who will always be our babies.
