I love caring for all pets!

I am 28 years old and have lots of experience and love for pets of all sizes, activity levels, and care needs. I have 2 cats of my own- Princess (24yo) and Mjolnir (12yo). I've taken care of pets since I was a kid and even took the family dog (Gus) and cat (Princess) with me when I moved out on my own at 18 years old. Gus had epilepsy before he passed, so I have lots of experience with those care needs as well as finding creative ways to get a dog to take daily oral medicine.

Amanda was so flexible with us. Our wedding weekend was hectic and she was able to watch our dogs for our big day. She sent great pictures of the pups, and did an amazing job. Would definitely work with her again.

• What information is important for me to know about your pet ahead of time? • What is their normal temperament? • What training techniques do you use with them? Commands or tricks? • When do they usually eat? • What is their potty break schedule? Are they house trained? Do they have occasional accidents when excited or nervous? • What are their walk preferences? Distance, do they get treats for completing, etc. • What are their normal walk behaviors? Leash tugging, barking at passersby, sudden squirrel chasing, etc. • How do they react to car rides? Would you be comfortable with me taking them on car rides? • How do they react to dog parks? How to they react to waterfronts? Other public spaces? Can they swim? • What are their normal playtime behaviors? Example: Gus used to growl aggressively when playing tug-of-war, but it was an obvious form of play because he always wagged his tail, never bit, and would be disappointed when you stopped. • What are their favorite toys or games? • When are treats expected? After a certain task or time of day? • What is their grooming routine? Regular brushing, teeth cleaning? • Are there any medications or allergies I should be aware of? If so, what kind of medicine and when is it administered? • Do they have any health issues to keep in mind? • Is their rabies vaccine and flea treatments up to date? • Do they get worried or anxious when left alone? • Are they protective of their toys or food or anything else in the house? • Are they an escape artist? Do they hide is certain spots? • Do they tend to steal human food off tables or counters?
