I am home during the day and my husband also works from home. Your pup will get a lot of attention daily while in our care! In the evening we do a few practice drop offs and pick ups. We try to take pups along whenever we can if they enjoy going. My boys are happy to give treats out and try to teach the dogs new commands, always supervised of course!

Our home is 2 stories with a basement on a culdesac, there is a lot of room to play inside and outside. We do not currently have any pets in our house. We have a great yard that is not fenced but always leash walk around the neighborhood or culdesac depending on the dogs needs we typically do a long morning walk and evening walk then shorter walks during the day. And lots of play time inside!

We need to know a dogs temperament, their tendency to door dart or run at any chance so we can be alert. If the dog does well with car rides, we will take them if they enjoy it! How many walks they are used to. Also how much exercise is required and normal schedule for your pup, feeding times, wake times, if they prefer a crate or not. We do a lot of cooking so for bigger dogs it’s nice to know if they are a sneaky counter surfer or not. We always love to know what tricks and commands your dog knows as well as if they take their treats gently.
A typical day
Typically we get up do a quick potty break in the back yard, breakfast, get the kids off to school take a longer walk have some down time and couch snuggles, take a short walk during lunchtime, wait for the boys to arrive home go to practices take an evening walk and get ready for bed! We are home during the day so there are as many potty breaks as needed during the day in the yard! My boys love playing with pups, favorite games include tug of war and throwing the ball inside.

Hi! I’m Amanda, my family and I are very seasoned dog lovers with 3 older boys. When our 2 rescue pups passed away within a year of each other we were devastated and with 3 younger kids not ready to get another dog. We started watching our friends dogs as a way to fill the hole in our family and now with older kids (10+) want to extend our expert love and care to new friends in our area! We plan on getting a dog in the future, but for now we are happy taking care of dogs in need of a place to stay until we are ready. I am a stay at home mom and homeschool 1 of my kids so rarely is our house empty during the day! My boys and I love caring for and playing with all types of dogs and we are excited to welcome new dogs for a little vacation while their owner needs to be away! My husband and I have been fosters for a rescue group prior to having kids and have experienced a lot of dogs in our home. We are a busy family with a lot of pup love to give! We enjoy walks in the neighborhood and trips to the ball fields, count on a little spoiling too we are big fans of getting pup cups with our iced coffee.
