Caring for dogs like they’re my own
I’ve been pet sitting on and off since high school and have hands-on experience caring for my own family dogs, including two golden retrievers. I’m comfortable working with different temperaments and energy levels, and I always prioritize making pets feel safe, calm, and cared for while their owners are away. My goal is to provide reliable, attentive care that keeps pets happy and comfortable in their home environment.

Having grown up with larger dogs, I understand how important regular exercise, outdoor time, and mental stimulation are for a pet’s well-being. I make sure dogs get plenty of opportunities to move, play, and explore, whether that’s through walks, park visits, or backyard time. I live close to a dog park and in a very walkable area, which makes it easy to provide safe, consistent outdoor activity.

We had a really positive experience with Amanda walking our dog Jaxon. She was punctual, attentive, and kept us in the loop, which we appreciated while we were out of town. Jaxon loves his walks and came back tired in the best way. We’d gladly book with her again!
Amanda was amazing watching my dog on super last minute notice. She was very communicative and sent pictures of Bona who appeared to have a great time while we were gone.
Amanda is a true pet lover, she has two dogs of her owns that she adores and takes good care of when she’s back at home. She’s kind and has a gentle heart when it comes to pets. She takes great care of pets and will always give them the love they deserve in the time she’s with them.

Schedule
I’m currently a student, so my schedule is structured and predictable. I’m in class Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and I’m available on Wednesday mornings. My most open availability is on Fridays and throughout the weekend.
