Animal Loving Preschool Teacher
I grew up with pets before having my own and have pet sat for neighbors and friends since I was a young teen. I understand the importance of animals as part of our families and work hard to build trust with the owners and animals I’m caring for. I can tend to all the little details you want taken care of (I teach toddlers for a living so am quite used to this) and am comfortable with administering medication, taking dogs on extra long walks and everything in between. If time allows I’m often able to pop by for a quick meet and greet, so feel free to reach out!

I am very respectful of other people’s homes and will always take my shoes off upon entering, wipe up any food mess, clean up potential cat vomit and triple check the door lock when leaving.

I’ve known Amanda for years, and her dedication to animals is truly remarkable. She’s always had pets in her life and treats every animal with the kind of gentle care and attention they deserve. Amanda is incredibly responsible—she never misses a feeding, always ensures pets get their exercise, and has a natural instinct for understanding what each animal needs. Whether it’s a nervous rescue dog or a playful kitten, she approaches every pet with patience and genuine affection. I’ve seen her go above and beyond countless times, staying up late with a sick pet or rearranging her schedule to make sure an animal isn’t left alone too long. Any pet would be lucky to be in Amanda’s care, and I recommend her without hesitation.
Amanda is fantastic! Our dog was loved, walked, and played with and she left our home in pristine condition. Amanda is reliable, answered any calls from us right away, and sent pictures and updates of our dog regularly. I trust her and I know her to very honest and conscientious. Would highly recommend!
Amanda is an exceptionally loving and attentive petsitter! I have been able to count on Amanda to care for my rambunctious pup and high needs cat, and my friends who also use Amanda's pet sitting attest to her chicken care and everything in between. I am someone who feels anxious about leaving my animals, but since finding Amanda, I feel at ease and return to a house of happy pets! She is timely with her walks/feedings/administering medication and communicative with updates and photos. Amanda clearly loves animals, and I feel lucky to have found her.
Amanda is a Wonderful Pet Parent. She grew up with cats + dogs, and has had animals for the entire 20 years I’ve known her… cats and kittens, baby chickens. As a preschool teacher, she really pays attention to details and knows how to care for others. Her communication skills are top notch and she loves walks just as much as your dog does. I highly recommend her!!!

Schedule
I work full time, so right now weekends and holidays work best, but I’m able to come by multiple times per day for feedings, play time and/or walks.
