I have been working as a pet sitter for about 15 years now. I am more than happy to look after any kind of animal from reptile, rodent, dog, cat, fish, etc. I've had many pets (dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, turtles, etc). I've done some veterinary school, internships, and classes such as pet first aid/CPR. Availability: Sunday-Saturday any time of day. I am comfortable giving medications such as pills, liquids, and insulin shots to dogs and cats. (from prior experience). I DO NOT take puppies or dogs that need walks anymore due to an injury. I DO NOT WALK DOGS ANYMORE. I only provide play time & backyard access. There will be an additional fee per visit on the following holidays: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day

This is our fourth time boarding with Amanda, and as always, she was amazing! My two dogs stayed with her for a month, and she took wonderful care of them. One of them is on medication and requires very detailed attention—Amanda handled everything perfectly. Both of the dogs were happy and comfortable with her. I highly recommend Amanda to anyone looking for a kind, reliable, and attentive sitter!

Schedule
I'm a fully active pet sitter. I board and do drop in visits. I only schedule 1 dog or cat at a time in my home, or 2-3 if they're in the same family. I also can do 3-4 pets at once with 2 families who know each other well together.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard and I have safety gates I can utilize anytime and keep all doors closed. Food is kept out of reach. Lots of snuggles are given.
A typical day
I do pet sits where I do light house cleaning such as vacuuming/sweeping/dishes/trash, etc and general looking after the pet such as play time, feeding, medicating, and potty breaks late at night. I do up to 3 pet sits for the day per client. For boarding clients there's a trail and park where I live for people who want to schedule a separate walker (I do NOT walk dogs). Otherwise I do play time & backyard access.
