I work remotely, which means I’m home throughout the day and can provide plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship for your pet. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate potty breaks, playtime, feedings, medication schedules, and plenty of one-on-one care. I’m available on weekdays, weekends, and most holidays. I also have reliable transportation and can provide pick-up and drop-off services for your convenience. For active pups, I also offer adventure hikes and structured pack walks (with compatible dogs) if that’s something you’re interested in. Whether your pet prefers an active outing or a relaxing day at home, I’m happy to tailor their care to their individual needs and routine.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. I have a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and explore under supervision. My home is a spacious two-story house with a finished basement, which allows me to comfortably separate pets if needed for feeding, decompression, introductions, or if a dog simply prefers their own space. I understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level, so I take the time to follow their normal routine as closely as possible. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or has special needs, I’ll provide patient, individualized care to help them feel safe and at home. I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment and never leave pets unattended in the yard. Fresh water is always available, and I closely monitor all playtime and interactions. For multi-pet households, I prioritize slow introductions and only allow dogs to interact if they are comfortable and compatible. (If allowed) I’m experienced working with dogs of all sizes, as well as cats and other small animals, and I’m comfortable administering medications if needed. I’ll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in caring, capable hands.

Pet care experience
With over 15 years of experience in the pet care industry, caring for animals isn’t just my job—it’s my passion. I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, from energetic puppies to gentle seniors, and I also have experience caring for cats, reptiles, rodents, and other exotic pets. As a lifelong animal lover and pet owner myself, I understand that every pet is a member of the family. I currently care for multiple animals of my own, so I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to provide loving, dependable care while you’re away. In addition to my professional experience, I volunteer at a local animal shelter and have experience with dog training, allowing me to confidently work with dogs that have different temperaments and training needs. Whether your pet needs a fun walk, playtime, cuddles, medication, or extra patience, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I’m also bilingual, making it easy to communicate with a wider range of pet parents. My goal is to provide personalized, reliable care that gives you peace of mind and keeps your furry, feathered, or scaly family members happy and healthy. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets!

Reviews
Anyone who knows me knows how much my dogs mean to me, so I don’t trust just anyone to care for them. Amanda is one of the few people I’d leave them with without a second thought. She’s incredibly caring, responsible, and truly has a heart for animals. She always goes above and beyond to make sure they’re comfortable, loved, and well cared for. I know when my dogs are with Amanda, they’re in the best hands.
I can't recommend Amanda enough! She is the only person my fiancé and I trust to care for our Doberman, Crow. As a Doberman, Crow has specific physical and mental needs, and Amanda always goes above and beyond to make sure he's happy, safe, and fulfilled. Amanda has extensive experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. She understands that every dog is different and is incredibly knowledgeable about breed-specific behaviors and individual needs. That level of experience gives us complete peace of mind whenever Crow is with her. She takes him on long walks and fun hikes, and he loves spending time in her large, secure yard. One of the highlights for Crow is getting to play with Amanda's own dog, who is exceptionally well-trained and has become his best friend. They have so much fun together! When Crow stays with Amanda, we never have to worry. We know he's being treated like family, getting plenty of exercise, enrichment, and love. If you're looking for someone who is experienced, reliable, and truly passionate about dogs, Amanda is the perfect choice. Your dog will be in the best hands!
