Very flexible schedule
Hello, my name is Amanda. I adopted my 1st husky puppy when I was 19. 3 dogs and 2 cats later, I feel like I have been through it all; chewed shoes and cords, potty accidents, and chasing dogs down when they get off leash. I no longer have my soul dog and would love to borrow yours! I live in the New North End in Burlington, and genuinely enjoying going on doggie adventures or hanging with some kitties. Your dog will love long walks on the Burlington bike path, ending at the dog park. Or maybe we’ll take a ride out to Red Rocks and walk in the woods. I work part time, so have a versatile schedule! I love a good dog pile, and have no problem with animals on my furniture. I’m more of a laid back person, so if this sounds like something your dog would enjoy, please get a hold of me!

Our 11yr old husky stayed with Amanda for a week and we look forward to booking again if we need to travel without our pup. She clearly has a lot of experience with dogs, had all the toys Xerxes could want, and a fenced space for our doggo to enjoy sitting outside. I would definitely recommend booking with Amanda!

Amanda was great watching our dog for the weekend! We came home to a clean house and a happy dog.

Amanda was great with our sometimes shy Shepherd while we attended an event. Our pup immediately took to Amanda. She has a house perfectly suited for caring for a pup. She took her for walks and even brushed our shaggy girl. We’ll definitely book again when in Burlington.

Amanda was exactly what I needed! She took my last minute day care request, my dog took to her instantly and didn’t even look back as I left. Amanda made the process easy and is a great communicator!

Amanda was great! Our older large dog had a good visit and I can tell Amanda made him very comfortable!
We met a few weeks earlier because Gigi is a nervous little thing. Amanda was great. Sent an update a few hours after we dropped Gigi off. Love to be able to use her again should we ever need to

Schedule
I have always enjoyed going for long walks, and love taking advantage of living on the bike path. I am gone for up to 8 hours on work days, so can't guarantee potty breaks shorter than that.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have a small gated patio, with a large grass and tree filled courtyard in the back. I'm along the bike path and 5 minute walk to Starr Farm dog park! I currently have 2 cats in the house, but they can easily be closed into their own room. I have my own kennel if needed

A typical day
I have a lot of trees behind my house that I'm sure every dog would like to explore. I'm minutes from the bike path, dog park, and beaches. I also enjoy dog walks at Red Rocks and Ethan Allen Homestead, but honestly just long easy walks anywhere will do just fine

- I have the most experience with 50+ lb huskies, but I grew up with a Chihuahua, so really I can handle most behaviors. I just need to be aware of any aggressions or fears your dog has. I'm very comfortable with kitties!
