I am a stay at home mom that homeschools my kids, and we all love animals. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats. My children are also big animal lovers and love every animal they meet. We would love to help care for your pet while you are away. We are home most of the time, so we can provide frequent potty breaks and lots of love and play time. We live on 49 acres that are back off the road, with plenty of room to play. I have been caring for cats and dogs my whole life. There has never been a time that I didn't have a pets, and we have several rescue pets. If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope you will give me the opportunity to help care for your pet!

Amanda did great once again with sassy she kept me updated and sent photos of sassy to let me know she was doing good. I feel very comfortable with leaving sassy with Amanda and her children help out so much and also loves sassy as their own pet

Amanda was the perfect fit for our Goldendoodle!!! Her setup with a large property, other doggos, and helping hands makes her literally the perfect pet sitter! She was also very understanding and flexible with accommodating our later pickup time.
Sassy and I really loved Amanda. She did so good with sassy and sassy did so good with Amanda. Sassy stayed a whole week and by the pictures I received she enjoyed her time away. I will definitely be using Amanda again she kept me updated and sent me photos of sassy which I really appreciated because I missed being away from sassy. We were so fortunate that Amanda was available last minute for us. We traveled from Virginia to NC to visit family with our Australian shepherd mix, Josie. We had intended to take Josie on all our outings with us. It was just way too hot to keep her out all day, so we got on Rover (we have used it at home numerous times) and were lucky enough to find Amanda. Josie enjoyed playing with her children and the family pets as well. We know she was much happier there that being out in the heat all day. Amanda responded quickly to our request and took great care of Josie. We would definitely use her again.

Schedule
We are a home based family, so we have lots of time to play with and care for animals. Mom schools kids at home & dad works from home. The whole family helps out when we have dogs over & we all enjoy it.

Our house is over 2000 feet off a country road. We have lots of space and privacy, and plenty of dog toys! The whole family pitches in and helps with the animal care & we all enjoy it!

A typical day
A typical day involves several trips outside for play time and running around for the dogs. If the weather allows, we also have a pool they can take a dip in. We love to do laps around our property for them to get plenty of exercise. After that, they can chill on the couch to rest, and they always get plenty of love and snuggles.
