Information Amanda G. would like to know about your pet
I like to know a dog's daily schedule so that I can mimic it as close as i can to make your dog feel comfortable. It is also important to know how your dog is around other people, pets, dogs, and being left alone for periods of time. I also like to know if your dog is allowed on furniture, the bed, what treats they are allowed to have, if they are chewers or swallowers.
A typical day
I have a nice fenced in yard that I can play fetch or chase with your dog. The neighborhood I moved into has a short little trail around the woods (approx. 15/20 minute walk) I am in the process of getting a kiddie pool for dogs who like water to splash around in as well. I also have indoor activities like dog treat puzzles, and tug of war toys.

Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs of all different sizes. From walking, bathing, brushing, playing with, boarding, i've had experience with many dog services. Growing up we had a family golden retriever and almost all my family members had a dog that I took care of as well. When I went away to college, I would occasionally watch friend's dogs. After college I was a regular sitter for my neighbors dog and two cats. Living with my parents, I took care of three dogs regularly. Now I've moved down to Durham and am looking for part time work while I find something more permanent. I do not have my dog down here with me currently but by the end of August I believe he should be down here. He is a 8 year old lab/Shepard mix.

Exquisite dog watching, my border collie/lab mix spent a weekend with Amanda and when I came to pick her up, my dog didn’t want to leave. I could clearly tell she had an amazing time and I would absolutely have Amanda watch her again. 11/10
Amanda was so sweet with my Gus, definitely will be rebooking! She took the cutest pictures and I know he was taken care of while I was off at work!
Amanda was a lifesaver for me! She did so good with my 8 month old lab who still has lots of puppy energy! She communicated well and sent tons of cute pics of my pup which I loved. Highly recommend!!
Amanda did great with our two dogs who can be pretty high maintenance at times! She gave us daily updates with awesome dog photoshoots, and dogs couldn’t have had a better boarding experience. We definitely recommend her.
