Any special medical or physical needs are best to know and understand up front. I always ask the owners if there are any specific signs I should look out for with their pet, and I ask that they provide their vet's information just to be safe.
A typical day
It depends on the animal. Some dogs like to play ball and fetch, others want to walk around the neighborhood. I love sitting for pets learning tricks and helping reinforce the owners' teachings. Most dogs I usually sit with love to sit outside in the sun, rock on the porch, etc, and luckily those are some of my favorite things too!

Pet care experience
I have an extensive history of babysitting and house-sitting as an overnight guest. I am single and able to work remotely, so I can stay in your home, allowing your pet(s) to remain comfortably in their usual environment with their normal routine while saving you boarding fees. I adapt easily to different environments and am open to travel.

Amanda went above and beyond to care for Birdie while I traveled to the Atlanta area.
Amanda was great with our girl! Our pup is a bit vocal and has a few quirks; like needing doors closed, a sound machine on when we’re out, and a special diet…but Amanda handled everything. Communication was easy and consistent, and we came home to a happy pup. It’s clear she really cared, and we’ve already booked her again.
Amanda was WONDERFUL!! She was super easy to work with and took amazing care of our 4 needy fur babies while we were gone! I definitely recommend Amanda and will use her for any future pet sitting needs!
