To ensure I can provide the best care for your pet and manage any situation effectively, please inform me ahead of time about all important information regarding their specific needs. This includes providing detailed information on any conditions they might have, such as reactiveness, anxiety, or health issues like allergies. Furthermore, sharing details about their personality quirks and behaviors—even something as small as a preference for chewing shoes—is crucial for their safety and comfort. Knowing these details in advance allows me to be fully prepared and tailor the environment to their individual needs. Enjoy all the pictures of happy pups throughout the years of pet care! They'll give you a great idea of the positive and engaging day your own pup can look forward to. UPDATE: As you can see in my pictures, we have added a new human member to the pack! He has been around animals since he was born and is now a toddler, so that’s something new in my life. Fortunately, if your dog is kid-friendly and tolerant of a one-year-old, we ensure the toddler is watched or contained at all times to keep them separate. Lots of my new pictures with Leo are with dogs we know well, kid-friendly dogs, or family dogs. But my priority is to keep your pet safe and everyone happy and healthy, and we would never put an animal in any position they are uncomfortable with or ever lack in animal safety! Animal safety is my number one priority.
A typical day
I offer a personalized, cage-free environment where your pet enjoys free roam and around-the-clock care, often as the sole guest or sharing with just one other compatible family. This approach is ideal for dogs who prefer individual attention, are not crate trained, or have specific needs. Daily activities are tailored to your pet’s personality, ranging from sniffing adventures on our large property, complete with cow-watching excitement, to structured walks, games of fetch in the yard (plus a doggy pool in summer), positive-reinforcement training, and even car rides for off-site excursions and puppacinos. If crating is necessary for sleeping or breaks, I can accommodate that as well, ensuring all situations are personalized to meet their comfort and needs. I can ensure top quality care.

I have been involved in the animal business for over nine years, initially spending seven years working in a busy grooming salon where I gained extensive hands-on experience with a wide variety of dog breeds and cats, honing my ability to read and interpret animal body language—a crucial skill in that environment. To further broaden my skill set, I spent over a year working at a training daycare and dog walking facility, learning valuable knowledge and tools from industry professionals. My experience also includes private pet sitting. This diverse background means I am well-versed in handling all types of dogs and providing various levels of care, and I am committed to continuously furthering my knowledge and staying updated with the latest information in pet care.

Amanda watched my boy Hank for me while I was away for the weekend. I was a little nervous because my mom usually watches him for me while I’m away, so this was the first time Hank stayed with someone else overnight. That being said, I had a very positive experience with Amanda. Amanda took Hank right in as if he were her own. Amanda made sure Hank was comfortable, happy, and safe the entire weekend. Amanda was respectful of Hank’s likes and dislikes. I appreciated the frequent updates, including pictures throughout the day-Hank was smiling in EVERY picture. I knew Hank had a great weekend with Amanda because he was completely wiped out when we got home. I would recommend Amanda to anyone looking for help with their dog, and look forward to working with Amanda again in the future!
