Amanda F is a very caring and very professional pet sitter. She checks in every day, and sends cute photos of my cat Felix! Highly recommended!

recently hired Amanda to care for our family dog for three nights while we were away. After landing at the airport, I updated her on our estimated arrival time. She asked that we text when we were about five minutes away so her husband could meet us outside with our dog. I found it unusual that Amanda did not come out herself, especially since I had never met her husband before. When our dog was returned to us, she immediately let out a distressed whimper, which was very unlike her normally energetic and happy demeanor. During the drive home, she remained unusually quiet and continued crying out whenever she was moved. Once we arrived home, she was unable to stand after being placed on the ground, which prompted me to contact Amanda for answers about what may have happened while our dog was in her care. Unfortunately, no explanation or helpful information was provided, and we had to rush our dog to an emergency veterinary hospital that same night. Due to the severity of her condition and pain, she required another emergency visit the following day. This was an incredibly upsetting and traumatic experience for both our family and our dog. Leaving your pet in someone else’s care requires a tremendous amount of trust, and the events that followed have left us deeply disturbed and heartbroken. No pet owner should have to return from a trip only to find their animal suffering and in need of emergency medical attention without answers or accountability. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Amanda as a pet sitter. This is not an experience I would ever wish on another pet owner or their beloved pet.
