Fun For All Paws
Our pets are extentions of our family and I can offer them a fun and safe experience. As a dog trainer, I am happy to give your family member the care they need. I've seen a variety of personalities and temperaments in dogs and cats throughout my life and my goal is to create a calm environment with a balanced pack. I'm patient with shy or grumpy guys, as well as hyper and young pets. I have lots of puppy experience!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Amanda! While I was away she dropped in on our cat and gave her so much love! She also take our crazy, but sweet doodle boy for walks. I don’t know what I would do without her!

Schedule
I have a strong morning schedule that pets respond to and I always keep track of how long my furry friends are home alone. As a freelancer, I have plenty of time for your pets.

Safety, trust & environment
I have experience handling large dogs (including pitbulls, cattle dogs, labs) and small or sensitive dogs. I live alone in a quiet neighborhood and I have a small, private fenced yard in the back to play fetch. If I need to, I can separate an animal who needs space. I am engaged on walks and I take daily hikes in the NELA area with the dogs. In your home, I respect your systems and seek to keep the place just as you left it.

A typical day
When arriving at your house, I take the time to say hello and get settled before getting leashed up, then I would engage your pet or take them on a walk or a hike to get some energy out. On special days we go to the beach, and on scorching days we have indoor enrichment and shaded, sniffy walks.
